The next day the goddess felt good enough to go somewhere.After that the goddess told to the old womam that there would be a submerged here.So she kept telling old woman go to somewhere else. The next day a major flood hit the area where the phewa lake had recently been. The lake was then submerged from all sides leaving only a mound in the middle. The temple of talbarahi was built on the mound.It is said that the temple that is seen in its present form was built by king mahendra in the year 2017 bikram sambat.
